This is the first in a collection of fans inspired by the four seasons. Smaller than their predecessors, they are original pieces for decorating book shelves, sideboards, occasional tables. Summer is the theme of the first fan, and to represent this season the scene is set on the shores of a lake, with reeds swaying in a gentle breeze and water lilies floating on the calm water. Also worth noting is the heron that is taking flight. The piece is conceived to be displayed on a special wooden base, similar to an easel. It has been made in classic glazed porcelain with the traditional Lladro colors but also using enamels for the snow and branches.
