The Plume Collection is inspired by the train of the peacock These majestic birds, with their kaleidoscopic plumes, are often represented in the mythology and folk stories of cultures around the world Known as the bird with 100 eyes, the pulchritude of the peacock is often taken as a symbol of renewal, immortality, or the all-seeing omniscience of God. The peacock is a powerful totem. The plumes feel infinitely complex, almost surreal, yet somehow still organic and corporal. During monsoon season, in India, peacocks are regular visitors to the gardens outside my home.
